MARCH 3
Speeding through a school zone put a 39-year-old Taylor woman on the expressway to jail after officers pulled her over at 3:08 p.m. in the 500 block Mallard Lane. A subsequent investigation revealed the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging her with possession of a dangerous drug penalty group 1/1B, a third-degree felony. She finished her ride in a police vehicle.
During a traffic stop at 7:03 p.m. in the 1500 block of Samsung Highway, officers discovered a 41-year-old Pflugerville man had an outstanding warrant out of Hutto for criminal mischief over $2,500, a state-jail felony.
He was placed under arrest.
At 11:59 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Main Street, police arrested a 43-year-old Taylor man and charged him with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
MARCH 5
Police serving a warrant at 3:08 p.m. in the 1000 block of Cottonbowl Drive detained a 37-year-old Cedar Creek man wanted on an outstanding bondforfeiture warrant, with the original charge being possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1/1B greater than or equal to 1 gram but less than 4 grams, a third-degree felony.
Reports of reckless driving at 8:31 p.m. in the 600 block West Seventh Street led officers to pull to the curb a 53-year-old Pflugerville man. The motorist was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
MARCH 6
Officers responding at 8:47 p.m. in the 400 block of Debus Drive for an unrelated call determined a 48-yearold Taylor man was wanted on an outstanding warrant through the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
He was detained for the probationviolation warrant; the original charge was theft of property greater than $750 but less than $2,500, a Class A misdemeanor.
