The St. Mary’s High School golf teams competed in the Lexington Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Caldwell. The girls team finished third, while the boys placed fourth.
The girls had five golfers compete, led by Mercy Barta, who shot a 107. Leah Altman followed with a 109, Kayla Hengst carded a 115, and Sydney Zimmerhanzel finished with a 121 with Bella Hayes also competing.
The boys team featured seven participants, with CJ Williams posting the best score at 98. Other competitors included Joseph Barta, Ethan Britten, Kolbe Barta, David Pena, Mikal Rethlake, and Tyler Zimmerhanzel.
St. Mary’s returns to action on Tuesday, March 25, at 9 a.m. in the Crystal Falls Golf Club tournament in Leander.
