TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

FEB. 3

Officers responding at 12:20 p.m. to the Holiday Inn Express, 180 Carlos G. Parker Blvd. N.W., apprehended a 29-year-old Taylor man named in an outstanding warrant for prohibited camping, a Class C misdemeanor. Getting back to nature wasn’t in the cards for a 26-year-old Taylor man at 11:46 a.m. on the hike-andbike trail, 500 block of Murphy Street, after police discovered he had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for prohibited camping, a Class C misdemeanor.

FEB. 7

A 33-year-old Taylor man investigated in connection with reports of a person threatening to shoot a firearm at 11:12 p.m. at Second Street Station, 201 N. Main St., was taken into custody after an investigation revealed he carried a handgun. The man was placed under arrest and charged with unlawful carry of a weapon in prohibited place, a thirddegree felony.

FEB. 9

A 30-year-old Taylor woman accused of intentionally damaging tires belonging to a household member was detained by officers at 12:05 a.m. in the 300 block of Davis Street. Police rushed to the location after receiving a report of a disturbance. The suspect was charged with criminal mischief/ family violence, a Class B misdemeanor.
