The Taylor Ducks varsity boys and girls soccer teams each got blowout victories over Cameron Yoe on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Boys
The Ducks earned a 3-0 victory over the Yoemen as Rivaldo Granados scored three goals, capping off an impressive hat trick performance. Taylor’s defense was stout, recording its second consecutive shutout. Walter Cavac had two assists, while Miguel Morales added one. Taylor improved to 5-4-1 overall and 4-2 in district play. The Ducks will face Salado on Friday, Feb. 7, before hosting Manor New Tech on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 7:15 p.m.
Girls
The Lady Ducks had an impressive team performance in a 3-0 victory over Cameron Yoe. Taylor had three players score goals, including sophomore Kaitlyn Crane, junior Avery Paulson and freshman Kinzie Johnson. Senior Justice Johnson recorded an assist. The Lady Ducks scored once in the first half and added two in the second. Taylor remained a perfect 6-0 in district play.
The Lady Ducks will face Salado on Friday, Feb. 7, before traveling to Manor New Tech on Tuesday, Feb.
