JAN. 27
Police put the brakes on a 39-year-old Taylor man at 10:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Howard Street after officers made a traffic stop.
They discovered he was in violation of an active condition of bond out of Williamson County. He was found to be in the same vehicle as the protected party. He was placed under arrest and charged with violation of conditions of bond/ protective order, a Class A misdemeanor.
JAN. 28
At 7:40 p.m. in the 400 block of Burkett Street, officers apprehended a 41-year-old Taylor man charged in an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault with injury/ family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.
A visit to the laundromat left a 65-year-old man hanging out to dry after officers went to GK Laundry, 1021 N. Main St., at 10:52 a.m. They discovered a 65-year-old Taylor man with an outstanding warrant out of Austin Pardons and Parole Board for parole violation-driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
JAN. 30
Police at 10:11 p.m. were notified a 47-year-old Taylor man had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant out of Taylor (solicitation of prostitution, a statejail felony.)
JAN. 31
Officers responding to the 500 block of Lenora Drive at 11:57 p.m. took a 46-year-old Taylor man into custody. An investigation revealed he assaulted another person. He was charged with assault causing bodily injury dating/family violence-enhanced, a third-degree felony.
FEB. 1
Officers arrived at 8:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Second Street to answer a report of an intoxicated person. An investigation revealed a 39-year-old San Juan man was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Harris County for driving while intoxicated-second, a Class A misdemeanor. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant.
FEB. 2
A 26-year-old Taylor man who met with investigators at 6:08 p.m. at the Taylor Police Department regarding an assault investigation was arrested. An outstanding warrant for assault causing bodily injury dating/family violence-enhanced, a third-degree felony, had been issued for him.
