MARCH 22
Geneva Garcia, 43, of Taylor, at 2:44 p.m., in the 500 block of Otis St., officers apprehended Garcia, who had three outstanding warrants for burglary of vehicle, a class A misdemeanor; criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor; and theft under $100, a class C misdemeanor.
MARCH 24
Ubaldo Barrientos, 41, of Taylor, at 9:21 p.m., in the 100 block of CR 408, officers conducted a traffic stop on Barrientos, who had three outstanding warrants for forgery, a state jail felony out of Waco PD; forgery of a financial instrument, a state jail felony out of Garza County; and forgery of a financial instrument, a state jail felony out of Williamson County. Barrientos was arrested for the warrants. Barrientos posted bond for a total of $25,000 and was released March 26.
MARCH 25
Ralph Stiver, 29, of Taylor, at 1:18 p.m., in the 100 block of Lorax Ln, officers conducted a traffic stop on Stiver, who had an outstanding warrant out of Round Rock for unlawfully carrying a weapon, a class A misdemeanor. Stiver was arrested for the warrant. Stiver is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $10,000 bond and a fine of $2,940.60.
Dominic Garcia, 22, of Taylor, at 10:23 p.m., in the 400 block of Sloan St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Garcia physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Garcia was arrested and charged with assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Garcia was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was further charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, over 1 gram, a third-degree felony. Garcia posted bond for a total of $9,000 and was released March 28.
