Nominations are being accepted for the 2024 “Outstanding Woman of the Year” sponsored by the Taylor Area Businesswomen and presented at the annual Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
The deadline to submit an application is midnight Feb. 2.
The award will be presented at the banquet Feb. 10.
Organizers said nominations should focus on the achievements of the nominee within the community as a whole, and not just her business or professional achievements According to a release, “The unsung heroine who performs outstanding acts of charity within the Taylor community for the good of others is someone you should consider when submitting your nomination.”
The nominee is not required to be a Chamber or Taylor Area Businesswomen member to be eligible.
Nominations are accepted from anyone in the community, including local businesses and civic organizations.
