Taylor cheerleaders prepare for state competition
Before they head off to compete against teams from across the state and the nation, the Taylor High School cheerleaders shared two routines with the community at the high school’s gym Monday, Jan. 13.
The exhibition night featured the team’s routines for the University Interscholastic League and the National High School Cheerleading Championship.
The night also included a special performance from the Taylor Middle School cheer team.
The high school squad will compete in the UIL Spirit State Championship Jan. 16-18 in Fort Worth and in the national competition Feb. 7-10 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
