TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

DEC. 24

At 3:53 p.m. in the 900 block of Bland Street, officers placed a 33-year-old Taylor man under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.

Officers at 5:25 p.m. in the 5000 block of FM 619 detained and charged a 58-year-old Taylor man with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.

DEC. 25

A 50-year-old Taylor man faced a variety of charges after police responded at 11:15 p.m. to the 600 block of Potomac Street to investigate a report of an unwanted person. Officers located the man, who had five outstanding warrants: failure to maintain financial responsibility, unregistered vehicle-second offense and expired driver’s license, all Class C misdemeanors out of Taylor; as well as probation violation-burglary, a second-degree felony out of Victoria County, and terroristic threat-family violence, a Class A misdemeanor out of Williamson County. He was placed under arrest for the warrants.

DEC. 28

A 34-year-old Taylor resident was arrested after officers responded at 10:26 p.m. to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed a person threatened a member of the household with a firearm and a knife. The suspect was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

DEC. 29

A 19-year-old Taylor man detained by police about 2:20 a.m. in the 500 block of Ferguson St. was charged with violation of protective order, a Class A misdemeanor.

An alarm at 3:36 a.m. sent police to Taylor Mini Mart, 1510 N. Main St., where they say a 49-year-old Taylor man forced entry into the building and barricaded himself in a bathroom.

He was placed under arrest and charged with burglary of a building, a state-jail felony.

At 5:51 p.m. in the 1100 block of Talbot Street, officers apprehended a 35-year-old Taylor resident who had an outstanding warrant out of Lubbock County charging him with fraudulent use/possession of identifying information, a third-degree felony.
