DEC. 12
At 11:18 p.m., officers responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 200 block of North Main Street. Witnesses said the driver left the scene in a gray pickup.
Officers who were investigating an unrelated disturbance then observed the truck traveling westbound on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Police then saw the truck strike a parked vehicle in the 200 block of MLK and continue driving. In the 100 block, officers stopped the driver, identified as a 47-year-old Taylor man. The suspect was also identified as the motorist who struck the vehicle on North Main. He was charged with driving while intoxicated-second, a Class A misdemeanor.
DEC. 14
At 12:09 p.m., officers responded to a report of a theft at Walmart, 3701 N. Main St. A 55-year-old Fort Worth man suspected of stealing several items was charged with theft greater than $100 but less than $750, a Class B misdemeanor.
At 1:55 p.m., the Taylor Police Department was advised a 21-year-old Dale man was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol for an outstanding warrant out of Taylor. The suspect was charged with theft of material, 50% aluminum/ bronze/copper, less than $20,000, a state-jail felony.

At 11:45 p.m., a 40-year-old Taylor woman was arrested in the 100 block of Everglades Drive for intentionally damaging items belonging to another family member. The suspect was charged with criminal mischief greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750, a Class B misdemeanor.
