The city of Taylor has announced the hiring of Carly Kehoe Pearson as its new assistant city manager. She will begin her duties on Dec. 30, 2024, overseeing the city’s Development Services, Main Street and Internal Services departments, according to a news release.
Pearson, a Texas A&M University graduate and Burnet native, brings extensive experience in municipal administration, law and legislative affairs. She most recently served as the director of planning and development for the city of Bee Cave. She also chairs the Legislative Affairs, Economic Development and Redevelopment Committee for the American Planning Association of Texas and is the immediate past director of the board for its Central Texas Chapter.
“Her experience will be crucial as we enter a season of rapid growth and development in the city,” said City Manager Brian LaBorde in the release. “We’re thrilled to have Carly join our team and look forward to her contributions.”
