The Hutto Hippos girls varsity basketball team lost its first district game of the season 52-51 to the Cedar Ridge Raiders on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
This was a close matchup the whole way as both teams battled hard, but ultimately, the Hippos came up short as they fell to 8-7 overall and 1-1 in the district.
The Raiders remained undefeated in district 2-0 with an 8-4 record.
Hutto will look to bounce back by hosting Manor on Tuesday, Dec.
3 before remaining at home versus Vista Ridge on Friday, Dec. 6. Both games will tip-off at 7 p.m. at the Hutto High School Gym.
