The Texas High School Coaches Association has recognized two Hutto ISD student-athletes on its 2024-2025 Academic All-State Team.
The award honors student-athletes who excel academically, factoring in GPA, class rank and ACT/SAT scores.
Seniors Danielle Segura and Isabella Orton received the recognition, with Segura earning first-team honors and Orton being named honorable mention. Segura and Orton were key contributors to the Hutto varsity volleyball team this season. Segura played libero, anchoring the team’s defense, while Orton, a setter, led the team in kills.
