The city of Taylor held its second community meeting for the Downtown Master Plan update on Monday, Nov. 18 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located at 111 W. Rio Grande St.

Residents weighed in on features and projects that could be added to the Downtown Master Plan, according to city officials. Those who were unable to attend can watch the meeting recording, view the presentation or see photos from the meeting on the city’s website, taylortx.gov/1200/Downtown-Master-Plan.

This stakeholder dialogue event was the second of three planned by the city to get resident input on the city’s Downtown Master Plan. The next community dialogue event will be held in December, with a date to be determined. More information will be available about the event on the city’s website and social media prior to the meeting.

Prior to the next event, the Advisory Board Committee will hold a meeting in November to discuss the Downtown Master Plan, and City Council will have an update at a future meeting in December or January.
