COUPLAND — New Bern will have its Family Christmas Party and hold a short meeting on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Coupland Firehall, located at 403 FM 1466, Coupland.
Hosted by Hermann Sons Life Coupland, the event encourages all members to attend, and some members will be recognized for over 50 years of membership.
Children in attendance will also receive a small gift from Santa.
In addition, door prizes will be awarded, and games will be played.
Families are asked to bring a dessert, but the meal and drinks will be provided. Members are also allowed to bring a plus-one guest at no charge. The cost will be $13 for other nonmembers.
Attendees are also asked to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry in Taylor.
