Williamson County Master Gardeners offer free education programs

The Williamson County Master Gardeners will offer free education programs in November.

The Green Thumbs Up: Texas Trees with Master Gardener Jimmy Hnisdo program will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Hutto Public Library, located at 500 W. Live Oak St. — inside City Hall. Hnisdo will discuss adding trees to landscapes and share his expertise on Texas trees.

The Master Gardener monthly meeting will be held Monday, Nov. 11 at 6:45 p.m. in Room 226 at 100 Wilco Way, Georgetown. This month’s meeting will focus on “Mycology 101.” Attendees will learn about fungi from Angel Schatz of the Central Texas Mycological Society.
