THRALL — Thrall Independent School District board President Bryan Holubec was elected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Board’s board of directors, representing TASB Central Texas Region 13, Position C, at the 2024 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 28 in San Antonio.
Holubec joined the Thrall ISD board in 2011. He is an active member of the Central Texas School Boards Association, where he is vice president of small districts, and is a charter member and organizer of the Thrall Community Education Foundation.
In addition to his involvement with the school boards, Holubec works as a consultant in the real estate development industry, having graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s in construction science and served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a combat engineer from 1988 to 1992.
TASB is a nonprofit organization that serves Texas school boards — the largest group of publicly elected officials in the state.
