Ducks outmatched versus Gators

The Taylor Ducks varsity volleyball lost to the Gateway College Preparatory Gators in straight sets 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The Ducks fell to 6-27 overall and 2-8 in district play losing its third consecutive game. Taylor was outmatched losing 25-7 in the first set before a 25-12 loss in the second. Gateway College Preparatory put the game away with a commanding 25-6 win in the final set.

This marks the second loss to the Gators as the Ducks were swept in the first meeting 3-0. Taylor hopes to finish out the season strong with two remaining games on the schedule.

The Ducks will host Marble Falls on Friday, Oct. 25 before going on the road versus Salado on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Both games are set to start at 6 p.m.
