Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 21 and will continue to Friday, Nov. 1. Here’s where you can cast an early ballot to beat the Election Day lines. All locations are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Taylor City Hall — 400 Porter St., Taylor, Texas
• Wilco Hutto Annex — 321 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto, Texas
• Granger Brethren Church — 306 W. Broadway St., Granger, Texas Voters must present an acceptable form of photo ID:
• Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety
• Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
• Texas Personal Identification Card issued by DPS
• Texas Handgun License issued by DPS
• United States Military Identification Card containing the person’s photograph
• United States Citizenship Certificate containing the person’s photograph
• United States Passport (book or card) If a voter does not have one of the seven acceptable forms of photo ID, they may use a support form of identification:
• A copy or original of a government document that shows the voter’s name and an address, including the voter’s voter registration certificate
• A U.S. birth certificate or a document confirming the birth is admissible in court, establishing the voter’s identity
• A copy of or original current utility bill, bank statement, government check or original paycheck
