Threats to blow up a home and kill everyone inside led to a quick response from officers to the 300 block of Carlos G. Parker Blvd. N.W. about 11:50 p.m. The 33-year-old Taylor man had already left the household, but police soon tracked him down to Crystal Circle, took him into custody and filed a charge of terroristic threat, a Class A misdemeanor.

An expired registration led officers to pull over a white 2014 sedan at 8:56 p.m. in the 3600 block of CR 101. A subsequent investigation revealed the driver, a 41-year-old Taylor woman, possessed suspected methamphetamine. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram but less than 4 grams, a third-degree felony.

At 2 p.m., the Taylor Police Department learned a 43-year-old Taylor woman had been arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office for an outstanding warrant from Taylor for theft of property less than $100 with a previous conviction, a Class B misdemeanor.
At 3:05 p.m., Taylor officers conducted a warrant service at a residence in the 300 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard seeking a 37-year-old Taylor man. Officers believed him to be there and sought him on two outstanding warrants out of the Milam County Sheriff’s Office — bond surrender/original charge: aggravated assault w/ a deadly weapon – discharge firearm, a second-degree felony; and bond surrender/original charge: assault family violence, impede breath/ circulation, a third-degree felony. The man was taken into custody without incident.
