The Taylor Ducks varsity and junior varsity cross-country teams competed in a district meet on Tuesday, Oct.
8, at Marble Falls High School.
In the varsity division, junior Aubriana Alderete placed 20th in the girls' race, while freshman Taylor Reingold finished 41st in the boys' race. On the junior varsity side, sophomore Angelee Phillips took 30th in the girls' race and freshman Eli Alderete placed 37th in the boys' race.
Other notable runners included varsity senior Zari Thompson, who finished 23rd in the girls' race, and JV senior Sophia Fisher, who came in 37th.
The Ducks will compete next at the regional meet on Monday, Oct.
21, at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
