Officers responding to a report of a disturbance at 10:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Lake Drive observed a 21-year-old Taylor man to be in violation of a protective order by being at the location with the protected person. After his arrest, he was charged with violation of bond/ protective order two or more times within 12 months, a third-degree felony.
OCT. 1
Officers apprehended a 44-yearold Taylor man at 6:18 p.m. in the 500 block of South Main Street; the individual had an outstanding warrant out of the California Department of Corrections for felony parole violation.
OCT. 3
Police conducting a traffic stop at 4:46 a.m. in the 500 block of East Sixth Street took a 37-year-old man into custody after he was found to be in possession of suspected Xanax pills within 1,000 feet of a school. He was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram in a drug-free zone, a third-degree felony.
OCT. 5
Officers apprehended a 25-yearold Taylor man at 4:20 p.m. in Murphy Park, 1600 Veterans Drive, after determining he was wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault with injury/ family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.
Taylor police at 11:11 p.m. in the 600 block of North Main Street arrested a 51-year-old resident, who subsequently was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
