SEPT. 16
Officers responding to a welfare concern at 1:23 p.m. in the 400 block of Sloan Street found a 43-year-old Taylor man who appeared to be intoxicated. He was charged with public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor.
A 37-year-old Taylor resident located by police at 10:13 a.m. in the 400 block of Vance Street was arrested for probation violationdriving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
A 67-year-old Taylor man detained at 12:23 a.m in the 800 block of Old Thorndale Road was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
SEPT. 17
A 32-year-old Thrall man was picked up at 11:24 a.m. by deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant from the Taylor Municipal Court charging him with illegal dumping/ littering under 5 pounds, a Class C misdemeanor.
SEPT. 18
A traffic stop at 8:24 p.m. in the 400 block of Porter Street landed a 26-year-old Taylor man behind bars after officers found suspected methamphetamines. He was charged with possession of controlled substance over 1 gram, a third-degree felony.
Officers who responded to numerous 911 calls requesting medical attention located a 31-yearold Taylor man in the 100 block of Carlos G. Parker Boulevard N.W. who was not having a health crisis but instead asked police to drop him off at a hotel. The man instead found lodgings behind bars after he was charged with abusive call to 911 service, a Class B misdemeanor.
SEPT. 20
A 42-year-old Taylor man ended up with two charges after police observed an individual at 12:59 a.m. on a property in the 3100 block of North Main Street.The man had a criminal trespass warning against him, banning him from the property, which led to his arrest and a charge of criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor. Police said the man also was found in possession of suspected methamphetamines and was further charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram, a state-jail felony.
SEPT. 22
Police responding to a disturbance call at 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Porter Street located man suspected of assaulting at least one family member during a disturbance. The individual was taken into custody and charged with assault by contact – family violence, a Class C misdemeanor.
