A report on finances is ready and will be given to the Taylor City Council Thursday night. The council is set to hear the annual comprehensive financial report for fiscal year 2020-21.

A report on finances is ready and will be given to the Taylor City Council Thursday night.

The council is set to hear the annual comprehensive financial report for fiscal year 2020-21.

According to the agenda packet, the city of Taylor’s financial statements were audited by certified public accountants of Brooks Watson & Company, PLLC. The report includes a schedule of revenues, expenditures and changes in the fund balance.

Other agenda items include:

• an update from the Moody Museum Board;

• a public hearing to consider an ordinance to change zoning at 3712 N. Main Street from single to family residential or local business district;

• consider revision of the library circulation policy to allow changes for circulation periods

Thursday’s council meeting will commence at 6 p.m. at city hall, 400 Porter St., in the council chamber. Those who wish to share their thoughts and comments, which are limited to three minutes, should sign up no later than 5:45 p.m.
