A 44-year-old Taylor man turned himself in at 7:03 p.m. on an outstanding warrant out of Taylor charging him with assault with injury/ family violence-impede breathing.The offense is a third-degree felony.
AUG. 22
Police took a 54-year-old Taylor man into custody at 3:18 p.m. in the 100 block of West Pecan Street. The detainee had two outstanding bondforfeiture warrants out of Bell County: assault with injury, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.
Police responding at 10:30 p.m. to investigate a disturbance in the 4100 block of King’s Canyon Drive ended up arresting a 21-year-old man.
Investigators said a man physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. He was charged with assault with injury/ family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.

A 19-year-old Taylor motorist stopped at 2:13 a.m. in the 200 block of Kyra Lane was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
