Rotary Club of Taylor is ready to celebrate spring by getting golfers on the green.

“Our annual golf tournament helps us support students and community projects all year long,” Club President Tia Rae Stone said. “We know that golfers and the community are ready to get outside and play.”

The annual tournament will tee off at noon Friday, April 8 at Mustang Creek Golf Course with team registrations and sponsorships due by March 25.

“It will be a fun time for everyone and a welcome time to get together and do some good for our community,” Carlson said.

The tournament is an 18-hole, four-player scramble and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. The entry fee is $350 per team.

It includes the use of two carts, the sponsoring company’s name on the sign near the clubhouse and food and beverages. Players will be encouraged to buy mulligans and play other games throughout the tournament.

Sponsorships of $150 or an in-kind donation of prizes or gifts are also welcome and will be recognized at the event.

To register a team or sponsor, contact Austin Brown at 512-948-0738 or [email protected].
