The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce will host an Elected Officials Meet & Greet 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at The Venue, 115 W. Second St.
The free event gives business leaders and residents a chance to connect with officeholders from the state, district, county and city ahead of the upcoming legislative session.
Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell, Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles, State Board of Education member Tom Maynard, Sheriff Mike Gleason, Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Rhonda Redden and Precinct 4 Constable Paul Leal have confirmed their attendance, Chamber officials said. Representatives for U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions of Waco, District 52 state Rep. Caroline Harris Davila and District Attorney Shawn Dick will also attend, officials said. All Taylor City Council members and Taylor Independent School trustees are planning to appear.
