You make me want to shout-out

GOOD NEWS

“Yesterday, I took my g’babies to Murphy Park then we went to the grocery store. I discovered my cell phone was missing and I was distraught. The elder g’daughter suggested that I had left it on a shaded bench at the park. We returned and when I was walking up to it, William was cycling toward me with my phone in hand. “Are you Ann?” He had tried calling several numbers in my phone book. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude that I didn’t even ask his name. My daughter’s father called to tell me he had gotten a call from William—on my phone—trying to figure out how to find me.

I’m still overwhelmed and my faith in humanity and our youth have been bolstered. Thank you again, William, wherever you are.”

“I found a plumbing part I needed at Moss and Moss this morning.

No need to go to the big box stores in Hutto.”

“Shoutout to Texas Bay Seafood and Steak.

My friend and I went for dinner last night. Service was great and the generous portions were delicious.”

— Andrea Zabcik

“Today we served 66 families. To date, we have distributed around 10,000 pounds of food within five months. We serve an average of 70 to 80 families each week and are aiming to serve up to 100 per week. We are so thankful for our donor partners and community partners for helping to support us in this effort to reach everyone in need. If you’re in the area, feel free to stop on by. There’s never any zip code or income limits.”
