The Revelation of Christ Church, 608 Howard St. in Taylor, wants to make sure that students are ready for school this year.
The You Matter Back to School Giveaway will be held Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church. Free backpacks will be given to students between first and eighth grades. Free haircuts will also be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A yard sale with all free items, will begin at 8:30 a.m. and last until everything is gone.
The event is free and open to the public.
