It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
JUNE 17
Andrea Bailey, 34, of Taylor, at 7:27 p.m., in the 400 block of Booth St. officers responded to an unwanted person. Bailey was identified and shown to have an outstanding warrant for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, a state jail felony. Bailey was taken into custody for the warrant. Bailey is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
JUNE 18
Kurt Thompson, 55, of Georgetown, at 4:04 p.m., in the 600 block of Vernon St., officers were dispatched to a welfare concern regarding a subject who appeared to be intoxicated.
Thompson was identified by officers and investigation revealed that Thompson was operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possessed an open alcohol container in the vehicle. Thompson was arrested for driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Thompson received a PR bond for $2,000 and was released June 19.
Reymund Aguilar, 25, of Taylor, at 12:07 p.m., an officer observed Aguilar walking in the 100 block of W. Fourth St. and knew Aguilar to have an outstanding warrant for theft of a firearm, a state jail felony. Contact was made and Aguilar was arrested for this warrant. Aguilar is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Johnathan O’Brien, 27, of Elgin, at 9:38 a.m., an officer conducting a motorist assist in the 100 block of W. Twelfth St. observed O’Brien flee on foot from a vehicle stopped in the roadway.
Officers gave chase and were assisted by deputies from the Williamson County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. O’Brien was located and found to have an outstanding warrant for bond forfeiture out of Williamson County and was arrested. The original charge was for possession of a controlled substance, third-degree felony. O’Brien is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail.
JUNE 20
Robert Stoglin, 50, of Taylor, at 9:47 p.m., an officer observed Stoglin in the 100 block of W.
Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, and knew he had an outstanding warrant for theft of property for more than $100 and less than $750, a class B misdemeanor.
Stoglin was taken into custody.
Once in custody, Stgin was found to be in possession of a controlled substance for which he was also charged with a state jail felony. Stoglin is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $18,000.
JUNE 22
Tommy Longoria, 49, of Taylor, 2 p.m., in the 1600 block E.
Fourth St., officers observed a 1989 Chevrolet pickup being driven by Longoria who had an outstanding warrant for terroristic threat of family/household member, a class A misdemeanor. Longoria was taken into custody after a failed attempt to flee from the officer. Longorial posted bond for $3,000 and was released June 23.
