HUTTO — The muchawaited groundbreaking of the EVO Entertainment venue, 180 Alliance Boulevard, is set for Friday at 1 p.m. Earth movers had been working on the piece of land off US Highway 79 in the Townwest Commons area for months, but seemed to stall out lately. Now the company has signaled that they are ready to proceed in the build-out, which is expected to take another year to complete.
“The groundbreaking is an exciting step in the process of bringing our next-generation EVO Entertainment concept to Hutto and we look forward to welcoming the community in early summer 2025,” says Mitch Roberts, founder and CEO of Elevate Entertainment Group.
The 53,000 square foot complex will be home to eight dine-in theatres, 12 bowling lanes, a video game and redemption arcade, a bar and restaurant, private event spaces and more than 50 screens for viewing sports and entertainment programming.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone alongside EVO, City Leadership, Staff, Community Partners and residents. EVO fulfills a need for family fun and entertainment in Hutto and we look forward to welcoming our community and neighbors into EVO next summer,” said Don Carlson, Hutto Economic Development Corporation chairman.
