GOOD NEWS
Self-care involves more than just physical exercise and healthy eating, it also includes mental wellness. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being.
It affects how we think, feel and act. It also determines how we handle stress, relate to others and make healthy choices.
By prioritizing mental health, we can improve our overall well-being and outlook on life.
To maintain good mental health, it’s important to shift our inner dialogue from negative to positive, speak kindly to ourselves and practice gratitude.
Keeping a gratitude journal can help us staying focused on the positive aspects of life and change the way we think.
No amount of guilt will change the past, and no amount of worry will change the future. Live a little lighter. Let that baggage go.
Be kind to yourself.
Shoutouts
“Shoutout to Sidney (hope I spelled his name right) from Pfluger Tire on Second Street.
Although they were already closed, he was kind enough to follow me to my truck that suffered a passenger front tire blow out, the tire off the rim. Don’t know how it happened as there were no gashes, nails or screws in the tire as far as we could see. I am grateful for the kind wonderful people in this town Did I mentioned they we’re closed? But he didn’t hesitate to come to my rescue. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sidney.
