It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
JUNE 3
Margarita Vargas, 59, of Taylor at 12:57 a.m., in the 300 block of Doak St., officers apprehended Vargas, who had an outstanding warrant out of Wiliamson County for fail to appear, a class C misdemeanor. Vargas is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
JUNE 5
Aaron Mata, 42, of Taylor, at 11:20 a.m., in the 3800 block of Hermann Sons Rd., officers conducted a traffic stop on Mata, who had an outstanding warrant out of Nueces County for unlawful possession of firearm by felon, a state jail felony. Mata was arrested for the warrant. Mata posted bond for $5,000 and was released June 6.
Rockerick Stoglin, 50, of Taylor, at 6:30 a.m., in the 600 block of W. Pecan St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Stoglin was found to be intoxicated and was arrested and charged with public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor. Stoglin was released June 8.
JUNE 7
Jack Dykowski, 21, of Taylor, at 3:05 a.m., in the 1400 block of Cecilia St., officers apprehended Dykowski, who had three outstanding class C warrants for consumption of alcohol by minor, minor in possession of alcoholic beverage and public intoxication. Dykowski was released without bond the same day.
Dianna McGrew, 38, of Taylor, at 8:09 a.m., in the 2500 block of N. Main St., officers conducted a traffic stop in which McGrew was a passenger in the vehicle.
McGrew had an outstanding warrant out of Bastrop County for probation violation-possession of controlled substance, penalty group1 less that one gram, a state jail felony. McGrew was arrested for the warrant. McGrew was released to another agency June 10.
