On April 1, the Taylor Press will have some rate increases, and that is no April Fool’s joke.
Due to a paper shortage and increased costs of materials, rates at the Taylor Press will see an increase next month. “Inflation is effect
“Inflation is effecting everyone, even the newspaper industry,” said Jason Hennington, Taylor Press publisher. “We have to make some changes to continue producing a newspaper.”
Ad prices will see a slight increase, along with digital subscriptions and other areas of the newspaper.
Price increases for digital only subscriptions have already been implemented. An annual digital only subscription is now $50. Annual print subscription prices remain the same at $55 for in-county residents, $65 for out-of-county residents and $75 for out-of-state residents.
Print subscribers also have access to the website and e-edition.
A new one-day subscription rate has been added for $1.99. This gives a subscriber access to the website and e-edition for 24 hours.
Additional increases will impact classified ads and garages sales.
