THRALL — After completing a season in which the team advanced to the area round, the Thrall High School varsity baseball team has a few alldistrict winners.
Maverick McAllister was named the 2A District 27 Defensive MVP.
Weston Smiley, Anthony Sandoval, Jack Gustafson and Hayden Heselmeyer earned first team alldistrict nods.
Thrall’s second team all-district honorees were Ty Bradford, Jack Watson, Jayden Rodriguez and Carter Bradford.
Carson Ball and Ty Matthews were listed as honorable mentions for the all-district awards.
On the academic side, Ty Matthews, Jack Gustafson, Payton Pipkin, Hayden Heselmeyer, Carter Bradford, Ty Bradford, Carson Ball and Maverick McAllister received academic alldistrict recognitions.
The Tigers finished the season with a 22-11-1 record and were the district runner- up team.
