WILCO – Williamson County offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of the Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day holiday.
While county offices are closed, it is highly recommended that residents consider utilizing the online services that are being offered in various departments. To access the latest information from each department, please visit www.wilco.org.
The next Commissioners Court meeting following the holiday is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 9:30 a.m. in the courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse, located at 710 S. Main Street, in Georgetown.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS), located at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, will be open on MLK Jr. Day from noon to 6 p.m. The shelter will have an adoption special that will run through Monday, Jan. 17. Everyone's favorite WCRAS alumni-pup, Champ, was adopted two years ago, on Jan. 13.
WCRAS is celebrating Champ's Day with $2 adoptions for all medium/large adult dogs and adult cats when you schedule an appointment by emailing [email protected].
