FORT WORTH — Effective Jan. 1 of this year, Taylor High School graduate Derek Gonzales was promoted to Fort Worth general manger of Ben E. Keith. Gonzales will lead all aspects of sales and operations across the Fort Worth footprint.
Gonzales has been with the company for 28 years working in several positions since he began in 1995. In 2007, he was promote into the marketing department and soon became the on-premise general sales manager in Dallas, where he led the division for 10 years. For the last five years, he has worked as the off-premise general sales manager in Fort Worth.
Gonzales is the eldest son of Olga and Ray Gonzales of Taylor, and 1990 graduate of Taylor High School.
Gonzales and his wife Marcy have three children and recently welcomed their first grandchild.
