Nonprofit donates $1K

Special to the Press

The Break the Silence team presented the Taylor Police Department with $1,000 for their victim services fund. These funds help victims with their immediate needs.

“Thank you to Taylor Police Department and to Priscilla Moreno, the victim services coordinator, for your hard work in protecting our community and helping victims in their most vulnerable time,” founder Marcus Reese said.

Reese said the Break the Silence Project was created to raise awareness of the sexual abuse of children and provide information on where to get help and support.
