Rams perform Shakespeare play

Last week, the St. Mary’s Catholic High School Drama Class performed their end of year play “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare, abridged by J. Tanner, V. Schuster and the St. Mary’s Drama Class.

The SMCHS drama class was led by director Patrick Heyl and assistant teacher Quinn Sicking. They had the help of Katherine Kinney, Laura Woodson, Khyber White and Andrew Kinney.

Parent volunteers donated decor and other stage items for the production.

“It has been a great privilege working with this group of talented and passionate students,” Heyl said. “I wish them ever increasing success on this and their next stage of life.”

The “Much Ado About Nothing” crew members included Mackenzie Gonzalez, Tyler ZImmerhanzel, Anthony Navarro-Salazar, Paulina Gonzalez, Kayla Hengst, Mikal Rethlake, Nhu Y Nguyen, Victoria Sheffy, Sophia Villarreal, Scarlett Dahlberg, Demitria Dahlberg and Mercy Barta.

The play’s cast members included Jose Hengst, Cody Higgs, Kolbe Barta, David Pena, Grace Johnson, Steven Reyes, Sydney Zimmerhanzel, Leah Altman, Sophia Villarreal, Brady Altman, Gabriel Maldonado, Anthony Navarro- Salazar, Paulina Gonzalez, Bella Hayes, Mackenzie Gonzalez, Mikal Rethlake, Victoria Sheffy, Malerie Mokry, Kayla Hengst, Melissa Garza, Nhu Y Nguyen, Gage Garsee, Dominic Heyl, Mercy Barta and Tyler Zimmerhanzel.
