This past week, the Taylor Public Library hosted their annual Spring Break 2022 Program from Monday, March 14, to Friday, March 18.

On Monday, children attended interactive movie day featuring the Disney film Toy Story.

On Tuesday, March 15, the library had their cardboard kingdom activity.

“This is our annual spring break week of activities. Right now, we are doing cardboard kingdom creations. The kids are making castles, cars or homes or whatever their imagination will allow,” Karen Ellis, Taylor Public Library Director. “We have boxes, we have tape, we have scissors and pens and paper. They are all doing their individual things to include different things throughout the week.”

On Wednesday, March 16, was the preschool elementary maker fair in the morning, followed by the teen craft shrinky drinks.

A zoo of trucks lined the parking lot on Thursday, March 17, for the truck petting zoo, in which youngsters interacted with local authorities’ vehicles.

The week’s events concluded on Friday, with a screening of the Disney film Encanto.

All indoor events were held in the library meeting room.
