There’s still time to join walkers and joggers this Saturday morning on a short or long stroll through Taylor.
The ninth annual Taylor Garden Run for the Roses 5K/10K will be Jan. 15 at 8 a.m., rain or shine and through any temperature. There will also be a 1K fun run and sleepwalker race.
Entry fees for racers ages 18 years and younger are $15 for the 5K and $20 for the 10K. Costs for people ages 19 and older are $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K.
Races start and finish at the Murphy Park pavilion. The 5K and 10K are chip timed.
Walk-up registration is available during packet pickup times either the night before the race at a location to be determined or one hour before the race near the start-finish line. Packets may be picked up by another person. Registration closes 15 minutes before the race begins.
Cash, checks or Venmo will be accepted.
