The Taylor Area Baseball and Softball 6U Hooks defeated the Cubs 20-15 last Saturday to end the season in a close game.
Cameron Ness and Brooks Hilton led the team with two home runs each followed up with home runs by Weston Massey and Kaleb Knapek. The bats were hot with Jayleen Gonzalez hitting a triple along with Brian Connolly, Ryan Garcia, Aiden Sanchez and Kaison Millican all getting singles.
The game was tied until the fourth inning.
The Hooks were able to keep the Cubs from scoring with Knapek ending the inning by catching a pop fly to the pitcher. The Hooks bats were hot bringing in 5 runs in the bottom of the fourth to end the game.
The Hooks went undefeated this season with an 8-0 record.
