HUTTO — Some of Hutto High School’s top varsity athletes committed to play their respective sports or competitions at the next level.
The campus held a signing day celebration for seven student-athletes Thursday, May 2, in their gymnasium. Anthony Maynard committed to play football at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. Chris Smith also signed up to play football at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.
Clyde Adams, Luke Adams and Trystan Blenis all signed to join the wrestling team at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Byron Piper committed to play basketball for Strength N Motion International, which is a college prep basketball academy in San Antonio.
Nyavah Pitt signed to join the Texas State University cheerleading team.
