Taylor in Elite 8 of Strong Towns

Voting is now open for Round 2 of the Strong Town’s National Strongest Town Contest, and the city of Taylor is one of the cities featured in this Elite Eight round of the March Madness Style contest, facing off against Norwood, Ohio.

Voting is now open for Round 2 of the Strong Town’s National Strongest Town Contest, and the city of Taylor is one of the cities featured in this Elite Eight round of the March Madness Style contest, facing off against Norwood, Ohio.

Voters from across the U.S. will get to decide which Texas city will advance to the Final Four. Voting for the second round is open through Thursday, March 17, online at bit. ly/TaylorStrongRound2. Taylor residents and fans can encourage others to vote as well using the hashtag #taylorstrong2022.

The Strongest Town Contest is a celebration of communities that are putting their focus on town making practices that build resilience and prosperity. The Strongest Town Contest launched in 2016 to spotlight communities that are leading the way to a better future. Each round, a different aspect of participating communities, will be featured on the contest website, and the public will vote on which towns are best applying the Strong Towns approach to create a thriving place.

The contest began on Monday, Feb. 28, and concludes with the announcement of the 2022 champion on Friday, April 8.. Voting is open to anyone and second round voting closes at noon on Thursday, March 17. Only one vote is allowed per match-up.
