APRIL 23
Adelmo Torres, 35, and Vicente Torres, 24, of Taylor, at 12:15 a.m., in the 600 block of W. 6th St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Vicente Torres. Adelmo Torres was a passenger in the vehicle. An investigation revealed a 9mm pistol and methamphetamine in the vehicle. Both Torres subjects were placed under arrest. Adelmo Torres was charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than 1 gram, a state jail felony, and Vicente Torres was charged with unlawful carry of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor and possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than 1 gram, a state jail felony.
Adam Ramirez, 20, of Taylor, at 10:22 a.m., in the 1400 block of Kingston Circle, officers apprehended Ramirez, who had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor.
APRIL 25
Christopher Kerr, 36, of Taylor, at 9:15 a.m., in the 1100 block of N. Main St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Kerr, who had two outstanding class C warrants out of Taylor: 1) fail to meet requirementscollision involving damage to vehicle, and 2) fail to maintain financial responsibility. Kerr was placed under arrest for the warrants.
APRIL 26
Cedric Bledsoe, 42, of Taylor, at 5:40 p.m., at Wal-Mart, 3701 N. Main St., officers responded to a report of a theft. An investigation revealed Bledsoe stole items from the store. Bledsoe was placed under arrest and charged with theft over $100 with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
Christian Delgado, 42, of Taylor, at 6:10 p.m., in the 3500 block of N. Main St., officers placed Delgado under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor.
APRIL 27
Eric Camacho, 34, of Taylor, at 11:00 p.m., in the 500 block of E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., officers placed Camacho under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor.
APRIL 28
Fermin Mata, 28, of Taylor, at 6:43 p.m., in the 700 block of Lizzie St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Mata was observed to be on the premises, for which he had an active criminal trespass warning. Mata was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor.
