HUTTO — The Hutto High School girls varsity soccer team had multiple players named to the 6A-District 12 all-district team this past week.
Lady Hippos standout senior Kamila Aguilar, a University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley women’s soccer commit, had the highest honor as she was named the Goalkeeper of the Year.
First-team all-district selections for Hutto were senior Cherlyn Quevedo, sophomore Ashley Guild, sophomore Alicia Izquierdo and sophomore Jocelyn Anderson.
Second-team picks for the Lady Hippos were junior Allison Bautista and freshman Mia Nelson. All-district honorable mentions were senior Mia Adame, junior Kaylee Hernandez and junior Maddie Nading.
Hutto, under Head Coach Courtney Mallon, finished with a 10-8-3 overall record and was the No. 3 seed in the district with a 7-3-2 mark.
The Lady Hippos finished their 2024 season with a berth in the 6A bi-district playoffs but were defeated by Mansfield High School.
