HOLLAND — The Thrall High School and Granger High School boys and girls varsity track and field teams competed Wednesday, April 3 at the 2A-District 27 meet hosted by Holland High School. The Thrall girls were district champions and the boys finished as runner-up.
THRALL TIGERS
1st - Dawson Meiske in the discus with a mark of 148 feet. Broke the previous Thrall school record of 145 feet.
1st - Alejandro Estrada, Christopher Gonzalez, Jayden Spence and Landon Gregory in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:33.12. Broke the previous Thrall school record of 3:38.10.
1st Steven Walker in the high jump with a mark of six feet.
1st - Landon Gregory in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.58 seconds.
2nd - Braylon Hernandez in the shot put with a mark of 42 feet nine inches.
2nd - Steven Walker in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.97 seconds.
2nd - Eric Smith in the high jump with a mark of five feet 10 inches.
2nd - Michael Machalo in the pole vault with a mark of 10 feet three inches.
3rd - David Tijerina, Jayden Spence, Rylan West and Travis Matthews in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:35.99.
3rd - Tyler Bonkowski in the discus with a mark of 128 feet.
3rd - Steven Walker in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.67.
3rd - Tyler Bonkowski in the shot put with a mark of 40 feet 4.5 inches.
4th - Jayden Spence in the triple jump with a mark of 39 feet 8.5 inches.
4th - Jesus Garcia in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 11:39.30.
4th - David Tijerina, Landon Gregory, Rylan West and Travis Matthews in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 45.24 seconds.
4th - Christopher Gonzalez in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.12 seconds.

1st - Brooklyn Gaswint, Carli Cadena, Jasmine Leamer and Montana Moore in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:27.97.
2nd - Brooklyn Gaswint, Carli Cadena, Jasmine Leamer and Marissa Hall in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:55.29.
3rd - Brooklyn Gaswint, Jasmine Leamer, Marissa Hall and Montana Moore in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 53.60 seconds.
4th - Eva Ramirez in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 2:45.85.
4th - Montana Moore in the high jump with a mark of four feet four inches.
Thrall and Granger will next compete Thursday, April 11 at the area championship meet held at Thrall High School.
