Kids score treats during Easter Egg Hunt

Taylor’s youngest residents competed to overfill their baskets with plastic Easter eggs this past weekend.

The city of Taylor hosted an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30 at Memorial Field, 1309 Davis St.

The hunt was categorized by different age groups, with each having age groups, with each having staggered start times.

The Easter Egg Hunt was at a different location than last year, with the previous edition taking place at Heritage Square.

Besides the egg hunt, there were yard games provided by Lina de Vida, snow cones from Kona Ice, hot dogs from Abraham’s All Beef Hot Dogs and an appearance from a Taylor Fire Department fire truck.

Children and families were also able to take photos with the Easter Bunny during the event.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to this year’s Easter Egg Hunt,” the city of Taylor posted on Facebook. “We hope everyone had a great time and went home with a basket full of eggs.”
