Taylor High School boys varsity golf senior Luke Thompson and girls varsity golf freshman Lacey Thompson competed March 25-26 at the 4A-District 22 Tournament hosted by ColoVista Golf Club in Bastrop. The Ducks and Lady Ducks were in action against players from Caldwell High School, La Grange High School, Giddings High School and Smithville High School.
Luke Thompson shot a 91 and an 87, while Lacey Thompson shot a 111 and a 109 as the sibling duo both qualified individually for the upcoming 4A Region 3 Tournament. The boys will play April 15-16, while the girls will play April 17-18 at Bearkat Golf Course in Huntsville.
