A pair of five-run innings paved the way for the Lady Lions as they went on the road March 26 and picked up a 12-6 victory at Rosebud-Lott.
As a team, Granger collected 17 hits on the night and had one home run each from the sophomore duo of Izzy Tavernier and Ariana Herrera. Fellow sophomore Abigail Crouch went 3-for-5 at the plate with a team-high four runs batted in, while Tavernier had three RBI of her own. The Lady Lions also had two runs driven in from Herrera and freshman Kinsey Vitek, while freshman Brooklyn Gaswint also had an RBI.

GRANGER LADY LIONS 11, HOLLAND LADY HORNETS 10
In a must-win game at home March 28, the Lady Lions overcame a seventh-inning rally by Holland as Filla scored the winning run on a wild pitch and Granger prevailed 11-10.
Filla was 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs, while Tavernier and junior Marissa Hall also had two RBI for the Lady Lions. Crouch, Gaswint and senior Clarissa Miller also knocked in one run apiece in the win over the Lady Hornets as Granger avenged a previous 11-1 district loss at Holland in early March.
